ITIF (The Information Technology & Innovation Foundation) recentrly released a special report to measure the global innovation-based competitiveness of 36 countries and 4 regions. The results of this benchmarking study, based on 16 indicators, showed performance in overall and also listed the score change in the decade 1999-2009. The overall ranking sees Singapore at the top, with Sweden and Luxembourg sharing the podium. The US are in 6th position, UK 8th and EU25 at 20th.
