Benchmark study on innovation-based competitiveness
ITIF (The Information Technology & Innovation Foundation) recentrly released a special report to measure the global innovation-based competitiveness of 36 countries and 4 regions.
The results of this benchmarking study, based on 16 indicators, showed performance in overall and also listed the score change in the decade 1999-2009.
The overall ranking sees Singapore at the top, with Sweden and Luxembourg sharing the podium. The US are in 6th position, UK 8th and EU25 at 20th.
In the last decade China tops the list, with EU25 ranking 26th, UK at the 28th place and the US closing 40th and last. The full report is available at http://www.itif.org/index.php?id=226.
